Shifnal is a private members club, which means the club is owned and run exclusively by and for the members.
Members of Shifnal Golf Club are part of an inspiring, active and loyal community. As well as a great golf course, members have so much to do and take part in within this community. Competitions most weekends, social events every month, a vibrant bar and a refined restaurant.
No matter your age, your gender or your golfing ability (you don't even have to play golf) there is something for you to take part in or enjoy at all times.
Members Benefits
As a playing member you get to use the course as often as you like and you can enter club competitions, of which there are many. You can also use the practice facilities. You are also welcome to bring guests to play the course at a special discounted rate.
Our club house is fully available for your use. Members get a discounted rate on all bar drinks, so you will find the clubhouse makes a very good local! Social events are organised throughout the year - details are posted in the clubhouse.
Men, Ladies, Seniors and Juniors all have their own sections in the club, and will do their best to ensure that you are made welcome and quickly become an active member of the club.
Finally, members are entitled to make use of reciprocal arrangements with other clubs either through the County Card Scheme or through the Reciprocal Scheme. Both of these offer substantial discounts over normal visitor rates.

Notes
In addition to the above membership rates, England Golf and County Union fees in place at the time of application may be charged.
*Junior Membership is available to persons aged below 18 years as at the start of the first of the subscription year. (i.e April 1st each year). Starting times and competitions are restricted and decided by the Match Committee.
** Student membership is available to persons between their 18th and 25th birthday who are in full-time education. This membership entitles the holder to all playing privileges, however, they shall not be entitled to vote at any meeting of the club or serve as an Officer of the club or as a member of the Committee.
***Country membership is available to fully paid-up members of other golf clubs, who reside outside a 70 mile radius of Shifnal Golf Club. Country members may not enter Honours Board Competitions and are not entitled to vote at club meetings or stand as an officer of the club. They may enter club competitions, but may not enter sweepstakes.
